George Ide LLP is proudly supporting St Wilfrid’s Hospice “Make a Will Fortnight” which is running between Monday 6th June and Friday 17th June 2016.
Through the “Make a Will Fortnight” scheme, we will update or write a new standard Will free of charge, in exchange for a donation to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
The hospice has been providing specialist care and support for those in the community who are in their last phase of life for almost 30 years. Opening in 1987 it has cared for over 14,300 local people. At any one time the hospice is caring for 230 inpatients as well as those in St Richards, care homes and their own homes. The care and support includes emotional, physical, practical and clinical and it extends to family, friends and carers. All their vital services are provided free of charge. Only 13% of their running costs are currently met by the NHS, therefore they rely on the community to fund the remainder, which amounts to around £6.7 million each year.
Last year we raised an amazing £6,415 and the project as whole raised a record-breaking £25,074!
