When my Aunt was formally assessed and deemed to be incapable of any longer acting on her own behalf, or indeed living on her own for even the shortest period of time, my family was devastated. It was all so completely unexpected.

I decided to consult George Ide, LLP, who had been my Aunt’s solicitors for some years and who had acted for two generations of her family, as well as her deceased sister.

On April 9th 2010 it was my turn to be involved in a traffic accident with an uninsured driver. Although my injury was only a minor back injury, I wanted to be able to claim some sort of compensation if only for some treatment of physiotherapy.
